Important Information

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set no passing grades for CUET UG 2025. Its responsibilities are limited to giving the test, releasing the results, and providing the final and preliminary answer keys. The participating colleges choose their own admissions merit lists and CUET cut-off scores.

CUET UG 2025 Scorecard: Important Information to Verify

Candidates must confirm the following information on the score card after getting the CUET 2025 result:

• Application number
• Candidate’s name
• Mother’s/Father’s name
• Category
• Roll number
• Date of birth
• Subject code
• Subject name
• CUET subject raw score
• CUET percentile score (if applicable)

How is the CUET score determined?

The final scores are determined by a mix of various systematic procedures that include raw score computation, normalization process, and percentile ranking. The entire scoring procedure is broken out as follows:

Calculating the CUET Raw Score

The following formula is used to determine the raw score depending on the candidate’s exam performance:

(Number of Correct Answers × 5) – (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1) is the raw score.

5 marks will be given for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Normalization of CUET Scores

Score normalization is used to maintain fairness because the CUET UG exam is administered throughout several shifts and sessions. Raw results are adjusted by CUET normalization to take into consideration variations in exam session difficulty. This guarantees that different exam settings won’t prejudice any candidate.

Calculating the CUET Percentile

Following the normalization process, the ranks will be calculated in contrast with other test-takers using a percentile score. The percentage calculation formula is:

Number of candidates with raw score ≤ candidate’s score ÷ Total number of candidates = (Percentile) × 100

The percentage of applicants who received a score below or equal to a given score is represented by this percentile.

Final Score for CUET UG 2025

The normalized percentile score serves as the basis for the final score that is displayed on the CUET UG 2025 scoreboard. This helps institutions set fair admissions cut-offs and guarantees a fair comparison of performance across all exam sessions.

CUET Result: Reassessment of Scores

No facilities for re-evaluation or re-checking of CUET UG 2025 results are offered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Under no circumstances will requests for a re-evaluation, re-check, or re-totalling of marks be allowed; the marks listed on the CUET 2025 scorecard will be considered final.

What Happens After the CUET Result 2025?

Admission to participating universities is not assured by simply taking the CUET UG 2025 exam. When the results are released, candidates must apply for CUET UG 2025 counseling on the official websites of the universities that accept the CUET.

Registration forms for CUET counseling will soon be available on university websites. Applicants must:

• Complete the application for counseling.
• Enter their score from CUET UG 2025.
• Choose your favourite colleges and courses.

According to the university’s admissions procedure, admission will be given based on CUET results, college preferences, and seat availability.

CUET Cut Off Marks 2025

Each participating university determines its own CUET cut-off scores. These cut-offs represent the minimal score or percentile required to be admitted to certain undergraduate programs. Universities take into account things like:

• The quantity of candidates
• Seats available
• Exam difficulty level
• Reservations by category

CUET 2025 Merit List

The CUET merit list is released by numerous universities that accept CUET 2025 based on the results received. Those who make the short list must show up at the designated college and turn in the necessary documents before the deadline.
